Let me…
–Pramila Thapa, Nature
Open the door, let me visit this world
I have also desired tobebold
Inside your physical world, I got everything, but
Never got such freedom, what asks my heart.
Don’t make me only passive listener
Let me speak something, then
I will be the voice of the voiceless, here.
Don’t laugh at me, laugh with me
Let me smile on my own desire, then
I will keep the world; happy sea.
Don’t make me blind follower of patriarchy
Let me think something, then
I will be the leader and rule the democracy.
Don’t address me: one’s daughter, wife
Let me identify myself, then
I will be “I” and win the race of life.
Don’t load upon me only conservative pains
Let me break domestic walls and dead laws, then
I will conduct inclusive one, again.
open the door…
…let me visit this world
